Providence holds off BC without Kris Dunn and Ben Bentil (VIDEO)

Providence's two-touchdown lead over Boston College looked safe entering the second half. That was until Kris Dunn and Ben Bentil remained in the locker room after halftime.

Dunn was ruled out for the remainder of the game with an illness. Bentil, who scored 16 points and eight boards, had exited the floor late in the first half after rolling his left ankle.

With their two top players out, Rodney Bullock and Jalen Lindsey guided the Friars to a 66-51 win on Wednesday night at home.

Bullock scored 15 of his 17 points after halftime, while Lindsey, who made his first start of the year in place of Ryan Fazekas (illness), scored eight of Providence's final 10 points to put the game out of reach.

Following the game, Providence head coach Ed Cooley said Bentil will get an X-ray on his injured left ankle.
