Providence basketball loses key piece at bad time
Thinking out loud while wondering if late night television will ever be the same again. - If it's May, it means Friar Basketball takes a hit with another transfer. Center Paschal Chukwu told the coaching staff he's not happy - with anything, apparently. Therefore, like Josh Fortune last year, Providence loses a big piece [ ].
Ed Cooley and the Providence Friars have gone through this before -- with Josh Fortune, just a year ago.
For the second straight year, the Friars are losing a key piece they didn't anticipate losing. Paschal Chukwu informed the school that he's leaving the program after just one year, in which he flashed plenty of potential.
Kris Dunn's announcement that he will return to the school for one more year obviously trumps all, but outside of that, it's been a rough offseason thus far for Providence. Dunn may have to take his game to an even higher level for the Friars to improve upon their 2014-15 campaign.
