Pepperdine 70, Pacific 60

Keion Bell scored a game-high 25 points and Pepperdine rallied from a 19-point deficit Wednesday night to defeat Pacific 70-60.

Bell led a 30-5 run that put Pepperdine in command after the Waves trailed 27-8 late in the first half. That was Pacific's biggest lead of the season.

Mychel Thompson had 12 points and nine rebounds for Pepperdine (3-5). Taylor Darby scored 11 and Lorne Jackson 10.

Sam Willard had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers (4-3), his sixth double-double in seven games this season. Allen Huddleston scored 14 points off the bench, and Demetrece Young had 10.

Pacific was within 60-56 with 2 minutes to play, but its bench was whistled for a technical foul after Willard was called for charging. Bell made the two technical free throws, and the Waves' lead never fell below seven points the rest of the way.
