Oregon Ducks Start Season 6-1, Sabrina Ionescu Scores Triple-Double
The Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team won two of three games in the Rainbow Wahine Classic and are off to a 6-1 start.
After a tough loss to Mississippi State on Friday, the Oregon Ducks found their Offense and dominated Hawaii and San Jose State to win two road games early in the season. On Sunday it was Sabrina Ionescu who made the headlines.
The Freshman led the Oregon Ducks with 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists and recorded the first ever Triple-Double in an Oregon Ducks Uniform. Lexi Bando had her second game scoring in double figures. After 26 points against Hawaii on Saturday she had 19 points in 29 minutes on the floor.

Sabrina Ionescu and Lexi Bando are keys to the season for the Oregon Ducks. Their early success shooting the ball is a good sign. At times it feels like Kelly Graves has enough depth for two Starting Lineups on the floor and getting everyone involved should pay big dividends as the season rolls along.
Oregon shot 45 percent from the floor and held San Jose State to just over 25 percent in a blowout 91-62 win. It was the sixth straight game that Head Coach Kelly Graves used al 14 eligible players in a game. The Ducks are off to a 6-1 start and 4-0 at home.
The Ducks return to Matthew Knight Arena this week from Hawaii and face Vanguard in an exhibition game next Sunday, December 2nd at 2pm Pacific Time.
