Oklahoma Basketball: Sooner Women Lose for First Time on 1st Day of New Month
The losing streak for women’s Oklahoma basketball against ranked opponents on the road was at 10 years, and it remains that way after the Sooners’ five-game winning streak to open the 2016-17 season was snapped on Thursday at Kentucky.
Oklahoma had four players in double figures in the scoring column and also tallied a season-high 11 three-pointers, but could not overcome the near 50-percent shooting percentage by Kentucky in falling to the Lady Wildcats 82-68.
