Lon Kruger's 2016 recruiting class is no longer without a centerpiece, as 4-star shooting guard Kameron McGusty announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Twitter Monday:

McGusty, a rising senior, chose the Sooners over no fewer than 12 other offers from national powers. The Seven Lakes (Texas) High School star had been considered a near lock to land at Oklahoma for much of his recruitment, with every expert prediction from 247Sports sending him to Norman.

Overall, the 6'5" shooting guard is the No. 34 player in the country and the seventh-best player at his position. A fluid playmaker who works best with the ball in his hands, he should help the Sooners with his aggressiveness on both ends of the floor.
