Notae scores 21, Jacksonville beats Lipscomb 87-69 (Jan 13, 2018)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) JD Notae scored 21 points and Devin Harris added 19 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and five steals to help Jacksonville beat Lipscomb 87-69 on Saturday night.

Jalyn Hinton scored 16 points on 8-of-8 shooting and Cody Helgeland added 12 points and three blocks for Jacksonville (9-11, 3-0 Atlantic Sun), which has won four in a row and is 3-0 in conference play for the first time since the 2010-11 season.

Notae made a layup to spark a 12-3 run that made it 20-11 when Harris had a steal and a dunk and Lipscomb (11-7, 1-2) trailed the rest of the way. The Dolphins shot 65.3 percent, their best shooting half of the season, to take a 47-27 lead into the break. They finished shooting 62.7 percent (32 of 51) to overcome 20 turnovers.

Garrison Mathews had 23 points and Rob Marberry scored 13 for Lipscomb. The Bisons made just 24 of 63 (38.1 percent) from the field, including 4 of 26 from 3-point range.
