No. 15 Indiana rolls past Penn St. 75-58
Jordan Hulls scored 20 points and Cody Zeller finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds to help No. 15 Indiana pull away from Penn State 75-58 in the first round of the Big Ten tournament on Thursday.
The Hoosiers (25-7) ended a six-game losing streak in the tourney and won their first postseason game since the first round of the 2007 NCAA tournament. They'll face No. 14 Wisconsin in Friday's quarterfinals. One more win would give the Hoosiers their highest victory total since a 31-win season in 1992-93.
Penn State (12-20) was led by Tim Frazier who scored 19 of his 26 points in the first half.
Indiana took a 10-point lead late in the first half, and extended the margin to as many as 22 in the second half.
