New Mexico's Devon Williams ends career after collapsing on the court

Devon Williams' career has ended two games into his redshirt sophomore season.

On Sunday, the New Mexico forward collapsed on the court after a collision and was taken off the floor with an apparent neck injury. New Mexico head coach Craig Neal told Andy Katz of ESPN that Williams was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and has decided to end his college career.

Williams averaged 5.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 38 career college games.

New Mexico returns to action on Saturday at USC.
