New Hampshire 71, Colgate 64

Jordon Bronner scored a career-high 24 points and New Hampshire snapped a two-game losing streak with a 71-64 win over Colgate on Saturday.

New Hampshire had its best shooting performance of the season against a Division I team, making 48.9 percent (23 of 47). Bronner led the way going 7 of 11.

Alvin Abreu added 14 points and Chandler Rhoads had 10 for the Wildcats (5-6), who won their fourth straight in the series.

Colgate (5-8) led by six points before the Wildcats went on a 15-6 run over the final 6:17 of the first half to lead 31-27 at the break. New Hampshire never trailed in the second half and a jumper by Chris Matagrano gave the Wildcats their biggest lead at 60-47 with 4:55 remaining.

Mike Venezia scored 15 points, Mitch Rolls had 14 and Sterling Melville 10 for the Red Raiders (5-8), who have lost three straight.
