N. Carolina A&amp,T 78, Delaware St. 73

Thomas Coleman scored 30 points and had 12 rebounds to lead North Carolina A&T to a 78-73 overtime victory over Delaware State on Saturday night.

Coleman had four points, a steal and a rebound in OT to help the Aggies (9-13, 4-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) snap a three-game losing streak.

Coleman's overtime dunk gave North Carolina A&T a 74-73 lead with 1:36 left. Adrian Powell's layup gave the Aggies a 76-73 lead and Marc Hill finished the scoring with two free throws with 8 seconds to play.

The Aggies shot 61.5 percent from the field (32 of 52) and 80 percent from the free-throw line (12 of 15).

Hill scored 12 points and Ray Lester added 11 for North Carolina A&T, which outrebounded the Hornets 38-22.

Casey Walker scored 19, Desi Washington had 18, Jay Threatt added 13 and Marques Oliver finished with 10 points and nine rebounds for the Hornets (8-12, 4-4).
