McCray's return sparks Pacific past D-II Stanislaus St.

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Junior Amari McCray scored 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Pacific beat Division II-member Stanislaus State 69-47 on Tuesday night.

McCray missed last season due to a knee injury.

The Tigers overcame 4-of-17 shooting from 3-point range (23.5 and 10 missed free throws (15 of 25) going 25 of 51 from the field. Justin Moore added 12 points for the Tigers.

Brandon Thomas led Stanislaus State with 10 points.

Pacific is 7-0 all-time against Stanislaus State.

Pacific will be making a trip to Honolulu later this week to participate in the University of Hawaii's Rainbow Classic. The Tigers will face Florida A&M, South Dakota, and Hawaii.
