Louisville Basketball: NBA Update On Terry Rozier

We take a look at how former Louisville basketball player Terry Rozier is doing in his second season in the NBA with the Boston Celtics.

Former Louisville basketball player Terry Rozier is in his second season with the Boston Celtics and is still doing everything he can to see the court on a regular basis. While he isn’t playing as well as Gorgui Dieng or Montrezl Harrell, having the talent to stay on an NBA roster is still an incredible feat.

With that being said, the Boston Celtics are still playing great basketball this season, as they are currently (30-18) and leading their division.

Take a look at Terry Rozier’s stat-lines from the Celtics’ last five games:

Rozier is literally doing everything he can whenever he gets an opportunity to play this season. However, the biggest hindrance to Rozier seeing the floor is that Boston has two other point guards that are currently playing 30 minutes per game (Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart).

If Terry Rozier wants a chance to play more minutes in the near future, then I’m afraid it may have to be with a different team. There have been some rumors involving Rozier being traded, but I don’t think there are too many teams desperate for his services at this moment.
