Kok has record 9 blocks; San Diego beats UC Davis 61-55
SAN DIEGO (AP) Duda Sanadze scored 14 points, including three straight 3-pointers to spark a second-half rally, and San Diego beat UC Davis 61-55 on Tuesday night.
Trailing by one at halftime, Sanadze's one-man 11-0 run gave the Toreros a 46-37 lead and the Aggies got no closer than five the rest of the way.
Marcus Harris scored a season-high 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting with four 3-pointers and Vasa Pusica added 13 points with a career-high six assists for San Diego (4-6).
Jito Kok set San Diego's single-game record with nine blocks - breaking his own record of eight, set on Jan. 8, 2015 against Loyola Marymount.
There were six ties and four lead changes in the first half before UC Davis pulled ahead 34-29 on Neal Monson's two free throws with 1:23 left. San Diego scored the final four points of the half.
Monson scored 15 points, Brynton Lemar added 12 and Siler Schneider 10 for the Aggies (4-4).
