Kentucky freshman wipes out cheerleader; she tweets back she's OK
On Monday night, Seton Hall's Sterling Gibbs punched Villanova's Ryan Arcidiacono in the head during a scrum for the ball — on purpose — then apologized on Twitter and was quickly forgiven by his foe.
On Tuesday night, it was Kentucky's Devin Booker taking someone out, but this time it wasn't an opposing player — it was one of Tennessee's cheerleaders.
And unlike Gibbs, Booker's hit was a complete accident.
Still the Kentucky freshman asked after her on Twitter following the game and got some good news.
@DevinBook I'm like new ?

@kristenhuskey looked bad. Glad you're ok.

Just to inform everyone, I didn't tear my ACL and I am okay! Appreciate the apology @DevinBook

Note to Booker, that's not how you hit on cheerleaders. You should know that by now.
