Jacksonville 67, Bethune-Cookman 60

Travis Cohn scored 14, including four straight points in a late run, to lead Jacksonville past Bethune-Cookman on Thursday night.

C.J. Reed's two free throws tied it for Bethune-Cookman at 58 with 3:06 left. Cohn then made a layup and two free throws, followed by two more from Ayron Hardy for a 64-58 Dolphins' lead with 39 seconds to play.

Jacksonville (8-3) shot 72.2 percent from the field in the second half (13 of 18), compared to just 7-of-26 shooting (26.9 percent) by the Wildcats (5-8).

Delwan Graham added 12 points and Russell Powell 10 for the Dolphins. It was their second straight win, starting with a 71-68 victory over then-No. 20 Florida on Dec. 20.

Bethune-Cookman was led by Reed's 22 points. Alexander Starling added 10 for the Wildcats, who were 22 for 22 from the free-throw line. Reed was 13 of 13 and Starling made all eight of his foul shots.
