Indiana St. 86, Oakland City 42

Dwayne Lathan scored 20 points Sunday to lead Indiana State past Oakland City 86-42.

The Sycamores (5-5) shot 60 percent from the field, and made 12 of 19 from 3-point range for 63 percent. Steve McWhorter was 3-for-4 from behind the arc and finished with 11 points.

Koang Doluony added 14 points for Indiana State, which led 41-17 at the half.

Jared Maners scored 14 points and Billy Newton had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Mighty Oaks (4-6). Oakland City plays in the National Christian College Athletic Association.
