Indiana F Mosquera-Perea suffers knee injury, out indefinitely

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea is out indefinitely after injuring his right knee in practice.

Coach Tom Crean made the announcement less than three hours before the Hoosiers hosted Penn State. He is likely to be replaced in Tuesday night's lineup by freshman Emmitt Holt.

Mosquera-Perea, a 6-foot-9 junior, was averaging 7.6 points and 5.2 rebounds and was ranked among the Big Ten's leaders in blocks with 24. He scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds in the Hoosiers' first Big Ten win, at Nebraska, Dec. 31.

Crean calls it a ''blow'' to the Hoosiers (12-4, 2-1) and says everyone must do a little more to make up for Mosquera-Perea's absence.
