Gregg Marshall's wife escorted out of stands following Wichita State loss

Lynn Marshall might have taken her passion for Shockers basketball just a bit too far.

The wife of Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall was escorted out of the stands of Bankers Life Fieldhouse by a security guard following the Shockers' 65-62 loss to Kentucky on Sunday, according to the Associated Press.

Marshall, an extremely passionate supporter of her husband's program, was reportedly visited by security multiple times during Sunday's contest for screaming obscenities and behaving inappropriately.

One reporter who observed the interactions noted that security attempted to remove Marshall during the game, but had to handle the situation "delicately" since it was a head coach's wife.

Kentucky Sports Radio's Drew Franklin live-tweeted about Marshall's erratic behavior, including a video, but said he was asked by NCAA officials to remove the footage shortly after he posted it. (He later re-published it on KentuckySportsRadio.com.)

Someone from the NCAA came and got my name and told me I could no longer tweet about her because "it made her upset." I guess it didn't make anyone else upset when she told Malik Monk to get in the weight room or told Isaiah Briscoe to buy some bigger shorts or told Calipari to "shut the (expletive) up" or told Roger Ayers he is garbage or any of the other classy things she yelled between F-bombs.
