Georgetown's John Thompson III, D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera preview season

Georgetown will rely on seven underclassmen this season. Luckily for head coach John Thompson III, senior lead guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera reversed his decision to enter the 2015 NBA Draft.

Smith-Rivera returned to school to finish his education. This spring, he'll become the first member of his family to earn a college degree. But he also came back to win in March, something the Hoyas have struggled to do in recent years. The underclassmen will need time to grow -- and Smith-Rivera will help them in their development -- but Georgetown's potential is why, which is why the Hoyas were picked to finish second in the Big East.
