Georgetown' D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera declares for NBA Draft
Georgetown guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera is skipping his senior year and will submit his name for the NBA Draft.
Coach John Thompson III announced Smith-Rivera's decision Tuesday via a press release.
The school said Smith-Rivera plans to sign with an agent.
As a junior, Smith-Rivera led Georgetown in scoring average at 16.3 points and assists at 3.2 per game and was selected to the all-Big East first team. He ranks 18th in Hoyas history with 1,386 career points.
Georgetown went 22-11 this season and lost to Utah in its second game in the NCAA tournament. The Hoyas were ranked 22nd in the final AP poll.
