Elon 109, Lynchburg 67

Austin Hamilton led six Elon players in double figures with 16 points, and the Phoenix routed Lynchburg 109-67 Sunday.

Sebastian Koch and Lucas Troutman added 15 points apiece, Drew Spradlin 14, Jack Isenbarger 13, Egheosa Edomwonyi 12 and Brett Ervin 10 in Elon's fourth straight win.

The Phoenix (7-2) shot 54.8 percent from the field (40 of 73), while making 48.1 percent of their 3-pointers (13 of 27).

Of the 16 players who saw action for the Phoenix, 13 scored as Elon continues to have one of its best seasons in recent memory. The Phoenix have their best record since a 14-2 start to the 1990-91 season.

Elon, which ranks 17th in the country in shooting percentage defense, holding opponents to 36.7 percent, limited the Hornets to 33.8 percent (25 of 74).

Nate Campbell was the only player in double figures for the Division III Hornets (7-3) with 14 points.
