Dye-hard Kentucky fan honors Wildcat Cauley-Stein with a tattoo
Kentucky basketball fans sure are devoted. A dyed-in-wool lot. Make that dyed-in-the-skin.
Remember that optimistic guy who got that tattoo (incorrectly) predicting the Wildcats as 2014 NCAA tournament champs?
Of course, UK lost to UConn in the title game. And after James Young's decision to declare for the NBA Draft, there were questions as to whether or not sophomore Willie Cauley-Stein would remain a Wildcat after this season as well.
So a student named Michael Gray vowed to get the 7-foot center inked on his body if he returned:
“@Therealmjeezy: @KySportsRadio if @TrillGeta15 comes back ill tattoo his face on me before the season starts” let's get it in writing

On Monday Cauley-Stein announced he'd stay in Lexington for his junior year. So true to his word, Gray went to Quality Custom Tattoos in Somerset, Ky, on Saturday. And here's the finished product:

Though there's one part in this equation that's bound to be disappointed:
@Therealmjeezy If I'm not in this tattoo I'll be highly insulted.

Guess once you're a Kentucky fan, you're a fan for life. Though there's always laser removal.
H/t Bleacher Report.
