Duquesne 81, Green Bay 71

T.J. McConnell scored 20 points to lead five Duquesne players in double digits as part of an 81-71 win over Wisconsin-Green Bay on Wednesday night.

McConnell shot 8 for 10 from the floor, including hitting two 3-pointers, to help the Dukes (4-3) to 57 percent shooting.

Mike Talley pitched in with 17 points and a game-high four 3-pointers for Duquesne while Sean Johnson added 16 points and B.J. Monteiro and Damian Saunders each scored 11.

Daniel Turner picked up a double-double for the Phoenix (4-5) with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Rahmon Fletcher led the game in scoring with 22 points for Green Bay while Steve Baker added another 15.

The Phoenix shot 48 percent from the floor but outrebounded the Dukes 31-24.
