Davidson 76, Wofford 54

JP Kuhlman scored 14 points and Davidson took control early in a 76-54 Southern Conference win over Wofford on Monday night, sweeping the season series.

Tied at 9 with 14:04 to go in the first half, the Wildcats (18-5, 12-1), went on a 19-2 run to lead 28-11 at the 3:30 mark.

Kuhlman scored 12 of his points in the second half as Davidson led by as many as 27.

The Wildcats, who rank third in the nation in team free-throw percentage (79.1 percent), were 13 of 16 (81.3 percent) while Wofford (15-10, 8-5) was 0 for 1.

De'Mon Brooks added 13 points and Jake Cohen and Chris Czerapowicz 12 apiece for Davidson, which edged the Terriers 72-69 on Dec. 1 and has won 11 of its last 12.

Brad Loesing scored 18 points and Karl Cochran 17 for Wofford, which has lost two straight after a six-game winning streak.
