Creighton's Doug McDermott shows he can score on Twitter, too
Creighton's Doug McDermott has been racking up the accolades as of late. The leading scorer in Division I helped the Bluejays nab a 3-seed in the West, replicated Larry Bird on a Sports Illustrated cover and won Big East player of the year.
Turns out Creighton forward's also got great Twitter game as well.
Recently, the junior nicknamed "McBuckets" became just the eighth player to surpass 3,000 points in his career. But as ESPN pointed out, McDermott was still a ways from surpassing all-time NCAA leading scorer Pete Maravich:
Hear that, @dougmcd3? @ESPNCBB: To pass Maravich for most points all-time, Doug McDermott needs to reach title game & avg 94 PPG in tourney.

To which McDermott expertly responded:
@GoodmanESPN @ESPNCBB So your saying there's a chance?
