Colorado State edges Boise State 97-93 in 2OT

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) John Gillon scored 19 points including six in the second overtime period that helped keep Colorado State in the lead for a 97-93 win over Boise State on Wednesday night.

Gillon sank a jumper, a layup and a pair of free throws in the second overtime and Fred Richardson III hit a 3-pointer to help the Rams (14-10, 6-5 Mountain West Conference) to a 95-87 lead with 1:09 to play. Boise State's Anthony Drmic drained a pair of 3s to bring the Broncos (16-9, 7-5) to within three, 96-93, with 22 seconds remaining but they didn't score again.

Antwan Scott added another 19 points for the Rams who had a 49-34 rebounding edge over Boise State. Prentiss Nixon had 15 points, Emmanuel Omogbo had 13 points and Tiel Daniels had 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Montigo Alford scored 25 points for the Broncos. Mikey Thompson added 20 and Drmic 17.
