Colorado St. extends Eustachy, contract runs through 2019

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Colorado State coach Larry Eustachy has agreed to a one-year extension that stretches his contract through the 2019-20 season.

The deal also includes an optional extension for another season as well. Eustachy is 74-35 since taking over the Rams in 2012.

Athletic director Joe Parker said Tuesday that Eustachy has ''grown the program and put it even more prominently on the national stage.''

His current agreement includes bonuses such as $40,000 for a 20-win season, $100,000 for taking the Mountain West Conference championship, and $200,000 should the Rams make the NCAA Tournament.

Eustachy said Colorado State is ''where I want to finish my career.'' He is 476-293 in more than 25 seasons as a head coach.
