Chris Harrison-Docks announces transfer to DePaul

DePaul landed a transfer on Saturday.

Chris Harrison-Docks, a transfer from Western Kentucky, announced that he would enroll in DePaul next season. Harrison-Docks is set to graduate this spring from Western Kentucky, allowing him to play immediately next season.

"I've learned that life's opportunities are always available if you're optimistic, believe in yourself and are open to change," Harrison-Docks wrote in an Instagram post. "I know my absence will provide new opportunities for others at WKU, and I've had faith another door would open for me as well. "Thankfully, that door has presented itself and I'm happy to announce I'll be pursuing a Master's degree while playing basketball at DePaul University. I am grateful to the DePaul administration and coaches for opening their doors to me. I intend to make the most of it."

According to Zach Greenwell of the Bowling Green Daily News, Harrison-Docks was suspended from the team for two games for in December for "not meeting expected team standards." He parted ways from the program in late January.

On the season, he was averaging 10.0 points per game and was shooting 38 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.

The 6-foot guard will join an incoming class that includes Brandon Cyrus, Devin Gage and Algevon Eichelberger.
