Butler 75, Indiana St. 54

Butler had five players score in double figure en route to a dismantling of Indiana State 75-54 on Saturday.

Andrew Smith led with 12 points while Erik Fromm, Roosevelt Jones and Chrishawn Hopkins added 11 each for Butler (17-12). Khyle Marshall rounded out the double-digit scoring for the Bulldogs with 10 points.

Indiana State (16-12), which trailed by 10 at halftime, struggled mightily to start the second half, turning the ball over twice and converting only 1 of 4 shots within the first four minutes to trail 44-29. The Sycamores would get no closer than 13 for the remainder of the game as the Bulldogs went on to shoot 48 percent from the floor compared to 25 percent by Indiana State in the second half.

R.J. Mahurin led the Sycamores with 22 points.
