Bowling Green beats Urbana 96-55

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) Spencer Parker and Matt Fox scored 15 points apiece and Bowling Green made 14 3-pointers in a 96-55 victory over Urbana on Sunday.

The duo only missed two shots combined and Fox made five 3-pointers.

It was tied at 26 before Bowling Green closed the first half on a 16-4 run for a 42-30 lead. The Falcons made their first seven field goals of the second half during a 15-0 run for a 59-32 lead. Parker and Wesley Alcegaire made back-to-back 3-pointers during the spurt.

Zack Denny had 13 points and eight rebounds for Bowling Green (4-2) and Ismail Ali had 10 assists. Rasheed Worrell and Antwon Lillard both scored 12 points, and Worrell grabbed eight rebounds.

The Falcons had a season-high 25 assists on 34 made field goals.

Carlas Jackson made five 3-pointers and scored 20 points for Urbana. The Blue Knights were held to 20-of-64 shooting (31 percent).
