Bo Ryan to retire: 5 potential replacements not named Greg Gard

In a surprising turn of events, longtime Wisconsin head basketball coach Bo Ryan announced that 2015-16 will be his last.

It's the end of a historic era in Madison. Ryan's Badgers came inches away from knocking off the Duke Blue Devils to win the NCAA Tournament in Indianapolis, but fell short. Ryan will be without star players Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker this season, both of whom were selected in the first round of last week's NBA Draft.

The widespread expectation is that UW will tab Ryan's long-time assistant Greg Gard as his replacement. But what if the Wisconsin athletic department decides to venture outside of the family?

Bucky's 5th Quarter examined five potential Ryan replacements not named Gard. Take a look.
