Bentil, Ellenson earn Big East weekly honors again

For the second time this season, Providence sophomore forward Ben Bentil is the Big East Player of the Week.

The 6-foot-9 forward, one of the breakout stars in college basketball this year, posted 31 points and grabbed 13 boards in Providence's overtime win at Villanova on Sunday afternoon. It was fourth double-double of the season. Earlier in the week, Bentil posted 20 points in a win against Butler.

Bentil has played every single minute in the last three games for the Friars.

Marquette's Henry Ellenson was named Big East Freshman of the Week for the fourth time this season. The 6-foot-10 forward went for 16 points and hauled in 18 rebounds in Marquette's win at St. John's on Sunday. He has 11 double-doubles in 20 games.

The victory over the Red Storm snapped a three-game losing streak for the Golden Eagles.
