American pulls away from Bucknell late in 69-55 win

WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) Delante Jones scored 18 points and James Washington added 12 to lead American to its fifth-straight win as it beat Bucknell 69-55 Wednesday night.

Bucknell shot just 2 of 7 from the field and missed two free throws in the last two minutes. The Bison shot 19 for 51 (37 percent) and missed all 15 of its 3 pointers.

Stephen Brown led Bucknell (12-10, 9-2) with 13 points.
