Parity appears to be the theme for this men's college basketball season.
The No. 1 team in the country, the Tennessee Volunteers, is undefeated, but after that, it's a mish-mash of one- and two-loss perennial contenders, including Auburn and Duke, who remain atop the oddsboard.
Auburn's only loss on the season came at the hands of Duke. Duke lost to Kansas and Kentucky. Iowa State has one loss on the season, at the hands of Auburn.
Houston and Alabama are in the mix. Houston has losses to both Alabama and Auburn. And Gonzaga is also in the mix, but has losses to Kentucky and UConn.
UConn lost three straight a few weeks ago, but has won four straight since then, including wins over Baylor, Texas and Gonzaga.
You see? Parity.

Sticking with UConn, a program has not three-peated since John Wooden's UCLA Bruins won six in a row from 1967 to 1973.
Since then, programs that have won two titles in a row include Duke (91-92), Florida (06-07), and the aforementioned UConn (23-24).
