Man killed at Herbie Hide's house
Police began investigating a potential murder at the home of former world champion boxer Herbie Hide on Sunday after a man was stabbed to death during a party.
Officers were called to the house near Norwich in eastern England just after midnight on Sunday. The victim, who was in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Former WBO champion Hide and his family ''have relocated as police carry out investigations at the scene,'' Norfolk Police said in a statement.
Officers said around 100 people attended the party. The property was sealed off and a forensic examination began on Sunday morning.
''We are in the early stages of our investigation and working to establish the sequence of events which led to this man's death,'' police detective superintendent Julian Gregory said in a statement. ''We are also in the process of confirming the victim's identity and police family liaison officers have been assigned to work with next-of-kin.
''A large number of people are known to have been present at the property at the time and ... we continue our efforts to identify and speak to all party goers.''
