Cazares wins super flyweight title

Mexican challenger Hugo Cazares defeated Japan's Nobuo Nashiro in a unanimous decision to win the WBA super flyweight title on Saturday.

The 32-year-old Cazares dominated Nashiro from the opening bell, winning on all three scorecards to improve to 31-6-1 with 22 knockouts.

The 28-year-old Nashiro, who drew with Cazares last September, slipped to 13-2-1 (8 KOs).
